Alice Yu, P.Eng., received her BASc in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Commerce at UBC and MEng in Petroleum Engineering at University of Calgary. She is currently a Senior Advisor, GHG and Air Emissions at Pembina Pipeline Corporation, managing the corporate emissions inventory to support business strategies and external ESG reporting. Prior to her current role, she spent over 13 years working at both as a Climate Mitigation Engineer at The City of Calgary and an Emissions Management Engineer at Cenovus, specialized in GHG emissions reporting and reduction in local communities and oil and gas sectors. In both previous roles, she also managed the energy efficiency, low carbon, clean technology development projects and initiatives through various government funding, provided guidance on air pollutants regulations and climate policy, led the carbon offsets and credits portfolios and collaborated with various industries members on development of low carbon innovation strategies. She is a recipient of 2016 Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada Eco-efficiency Leadership Award, 2018 Young Women in Energy Award and 2022 Top 100 Canadian Women in Energy Transformation Series.
