Jana is an entrepreneurial CEO with a background in communications, negotiation and corporate development. Her early career in the Oil and Gas industry stewarded her passion for integrating organizations from various sectors the carbon markets. Beginning with carbon trading in early 2020, she identified the lack of carbon market integration for organizations within Canada.
Since founding Guardyan Conservation, Jana has analyzed the feasibility of projects ranging from agriculture to transportation, technology, efficiencies, renewables, solar and land use; contributing to project financing and executing valuable offtake agreements for end-products including power, SAF and carbon credits in the voluntary and compliant markets. She is a hands-on leader who continues to expand Guardyan’s influence and client base through the development of high-integrity emission reduction projects on a global scale.
