Heather Child is the Greenhouse Gas Technical Team Lead for ExxonMobil’s Unconventionals organization. She brings 19 years of experience in the oil and gas industry: 13 years in operations and production engineering across multiple U.S. unconventional plays before transitioning into air compliance and GHG emissions for the past 6 years. Heather has been an active participant in MiQ audits for four years and helped lead ExxonMobil’s first methanedetection flyover programs in the Permian Basin. In her current role, she oversees the calculation and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions across the Unconventionals business.
Heather holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Brigham Young University and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Petroleum Engineering.
