Dr. Xinlai Liu is an Ezra Systems Postdoctoral Associate, teaching in the Systems Engineering Program at Cornell University. As a sustainability scientist, his research integrates cutting-edge technologies, including blockchain, digital twin, and artificial intelligence, to advance environmental sustainability and combat climate change. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications on climate change, ESG assessments, and supply chain. He completed his Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Hong Kong in 2023. At Cornell, he teaches courses such as Industrial Blockchain Systems and Application and Systems Engineering for Sustainability, emphasizing a systematic approach to industrial practices.
