                                                    Jessica Roman is the chief governance officer for public policy issues, sustainability strategy and environmental-social-governance (ESG) engagement at Phillips 66. 
Prior to Sustainability, Roman was Director, Strategy, since 2017 where she was responsible for strategy development, optimization and performance analysis of East, Gulf coast and Central refineries.
Roman began her career in 2007 as a process design engineer. She held various individual contributor and leadership roles across multiple Phillips 66 sites.
Roman graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2007 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemical engineering.
